I think the worst part about the added words is that they suck all of the emotion out of the scene. The new words are always delivered in such a flat tone, if they could at least inject some emotion in there it would be okay. Swear words are just emotional currency anyway, so if you are going to splice in words you better get the most incredible voice actor ever to do it.
I was just thinking about how terrible this is in songs. I hate it when they bleep stuff or cut to silence, but it is even worse when they insert other sounds. BLEG!
I liked the Wu Tang song where they just edited the swears with bees buzzing. twas obnoxious.
